Manners Classes

Imagine a dog who walks happily by your side, greets others politely, and stays connected with you wherever you go.

Manners Classes

What if daily life with your dog felt easy?

Picture your dog greeting friends with a calm tail wag, strolling beside you on leash without pulling, and relaxing quietly at your favorite café table. You feel confident bringing them anywhere—because you trust how they’ll behave. They’re the dog that gets invited back. The dog neighbors compliment. The dog you’re proud to show off.

But for many dogs, this doesn’t come naturally. Without guidance, they may jump on people, bark for attention, surf the counters for snacks, pull like a sled dog, or ignore you the second something exciting appears.

Our Manners Classes teach you and your dog the skills that make everyday life smoother, calmer, and more enjoyable—for both of you.

The Manners Class Path

Each level builds confidence, strengthens your bond, and helps your dog stay focused in real-world environments.

Step 1: Basic Manners

For dogs who are new to training or need help with the essentials.
Teach your dog how to focus on you, greet people politely, walk nicely on leash, leave-it, and settle calmly at home or in public. This is the foundation that makes everything else easier.

Step 2: Level 2 Manners

For dogs who understand the basics and are ready for more reliability.
We practice in more distracting environments and strengthen your dog’s ability to stay focused, calm, and responsive even when the world is exciting.

Step 3: Level 3 Manners

For dogs who love a challenge and want to put their skills to work. We use fun and engaging training games to improve responsiveness, leash skills, calmness, and self-control in real-life situations. This class keeps training exciting—for both of you.

Where Can You Go After Basic Manners?

Once you’ve completed Basic Manners (Step 1), you’ll be eligible for a wide variety of specialty classes based on your interests:

  • Total Recall — build a reliable come-when-called

  • About Town — training in real public places

  • Polite Greetings — calm, friendly interactions

  • Leash Manners — loose leash skills anywhere
